Crystal Wilson was born and raised on the Peninsula. After graduating from Old Dominion University, she worked for several municipalities in the Tidewater region to include James City County and the City of Virginia Beach. Her career in Parks and Recreation eventually took her north where she was able to do the work she loves planning and executing events for large and small scale populations. She has a love of history and music, and loves being on the water. Crystal serves as the Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for the vision and initiation of the development and construction of The Maine of Williamsburg. Her vision for The Maine of Williamsburg has always been to provide a safe place that “welcomes all in the name of love and acceptance”.
